Reconciliation

Gods ministry of reconciliation is simply God reconciling the world to himself through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ.  
God explains reconciliation in simple terms in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verses 18 and 19.  

"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation."             2 Corintians 5:18-19  

Gods ministry of reconciliation is simply God doing what we could not do.  God provided his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so that our sins might be forgiven and we might have eternal life.  This forgiveness of sin and God's gift of eternal life is referred to as salvation.  But salvation is more than just forgiveness and receiving eternal life, it is the beginning of a personal relationship with God that lasts for all eternity.  God as our heavenly Father and we as his children.
